Project Overview
We wanted to create a strong sense of cohesion between the Primary and Guest Bedroom which is why we chose to use a similar neutral palette of greens, taupes, and creams. Though the bedrooms share the same color palette, we applied tonal differences and unique design elements to create distinction between the spaces and create two Modernist Bedrooms that invite complete relaxation.
Scope of Services
Full Service | New Build with Full Furnishing & Styling
Interior Architecture & Design, Project Management, Custom Built-In and Millwork Design and Elevation Drawings, Space Planning, Lighting, Window Treatments, Textiles, Furnishing and Decor Sourcing and Procurement, Art Curation, and final Installation and Styling to deliver a fully realized space.
Green is the New Neutral
We combined white oak in a natural finish with a neutral palette of green, cream, and taupe to create a minimal and tranquil primary bedroom.
The end result is an easeful space that soothes and restores.
Meditative Artwork for Relaxation
We built the rooms palette around the serene tree photograph by one of our favorite photographers, Petros Koublis; and then commissioned the abstract art from artist, Lauren Fuhr to compliment the rooms palette and mood.
The two art pieces are meditative in quality and invite deep relaxation.
Making the Most of a Small Footprint
We maximized the room’s small footprint by designing a custom built-in bed, nightstands, and desk in natural warm white oak. We then added visual interest and sound dampening with the acoustic slat walls.
The end result is a guest suite as beautiful and luxurious as the finest hotels.
